Cockapoos are the cross of a poodle and a cocker spaniel. Cockapoo hair can be cut in a number of delightful ways.

The Teddy Bear Cut

The teddy bear cut resembles the standard cut of a poodle. The fur is trimmed short around the body, while more fur is left on the legs. Around the head and ears, hair is trimmed to fall naturally and follow the curve of the ear flap.

The Lamb Cut

Shorter than the teddy bear, the lamb cut's look is achieved by trimming the body of the cockapoo short, and leaving plenty of curls around the feet, ears and muzzle.

The Cocker Cut

A longer look for a cockapoo is achieved with a cocker cut. A cockapoo with this cut requires more grooming and regular trims to avoid matting of the fur. Hair is left long around the head, body and legs, but trimmed around the eyes.

The Puppy Cut

The puppy cut isn’t based on the haircut of either the spaniel or poodle side of the family, but is commonly used on puppies of many breeds that are commonly trimmed. This style is very basic; the groomer just cuts the fur to a uniform length. The haircut lasts around three months, and it tends to require little maintenance.
